BAE Systems U2 RFEW Field Engineer in Beale AFB, California
Do you enjoy travel and working in a dynamic Engineering environment providing comprehensive RF Electronic Warfare (EW) Field Engineering Sustainment at a designated Main Operating Base (MOB) in California supporting aircraft and back shop capabilities?
The inspired and successful Field Engineering candidate will be immersed in RFEW Systems providing comprehensive U2 Electronic Warfare (EW) Field Engineering Services primarily at the MOB and other worldwide locations in support of customer (TDY) requirements for periods of approximately 2-3 weeks in duration. Working closely with customers, and communicating with program management and team members to ensure the technical aspects are tested/fielded. Provide onsite technical services for backshop maintenance and test of EW equipment and associated hardware for all Program EW systems; perform engineering tasks associated with EW mission support to include EW aircraft troubleshooting, equipment supportability; Analyze software, hardware, and system problems and provide problem resolution to include testing, and analyzing.
Successful candidate must be proficient using electronics laboratory Test Equipment (O'Scope, Analyzer, etc) associated with EW fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair. Possess Organizational Level EW or RF troubleshooting abilities and experience. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft electrical generation and distribution systems. Must be able to read/understand aircraft wiring diagrams, technical manuals and schematics. Support additional U2 Program requirements as directed by the Program Manager. Travel flexibility (CONUS/OCONUS) is required to support Program Requirements.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Secret Security Clearance
US Passport or qualified to obtain passport
Excellent Customer Communication skills
2-4 years RF EW experience
Electronics Maintenance and Troubleshooting knowledge
Hardware and Software systems integration and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills and Education
USAF CAMS/IMDS Knowledge
USAF Supply and Material processing experience
USAF Technical Publication familiarization
