BAE Systems Principle Programmer Analyst/Developer Multiple ES Locations in Austin, Texas
We are searching for a skilled SQL programmer to develop complex reports for an enterprise wide custom reporting application using Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL). This job requires the aptitude and desire to learn and understand multiple business applications. You must be a detail oriented developer with ability to work with all levels of development from analysis through documentation, implementation, and support. This position requires interpreting and clarifying requirements provided by mixed functional teams with varied experience levels. This is the ideal job for a programmer with cross functional experience in a manufacturing business environment. PLEASE NOTE: Candidate can sit in Austin, TX or any major ES Location (Endicott, New York; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Greenlawn, New York; Lexington, Massachusetts; Manassas, Virginia; Nashua, New Hampshire; San Diego, California; Wayne, New Jersey).
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
Four plus years writing complex Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL) queries.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Extremely detail oriented and willing to learn and follow precisely defined coding practices.
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements, indexing tables as required.
Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience writing Oracle SQL queries.
Experience coding with .NET Framework (i.e., C#).
Familiarity with HTML and XML syntax.
Experience writing Common Language Runtime (CLR) code.
Oracle ERP, IBaseT Solumina, and TIP QA business application knowledge is a plus.
Delphi experience is a plus.
