BAE Systems Project Manager in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description

This BAE Systems program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity support, coordination and communications to all Federal Executive Branch agencies. This program interacts with various government agencies, federal Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) to help transform Federal Government cybersecurity risk management through effective collaboration, operational governance and training, and providing meaningful metrics and assessments in support of agency decision making. We will assist in the development of innovative approaches to drive change in cybersecurity risk management across the federal government to prevent or minimize disruptions to critical information infrastructure. As part of this team, you will contribute to the assessment of current cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards and identify vulnerabilities and capability gaps, and to synthesize this data to reduce cybersecurity risk of our customer networks.

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. The candidate will provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Business Analyst experience in collaborating with IT managers to define performance challenges and design performance measurement solutions to inform management decision making.

Experience in leading a project team inanalysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.

Experienced in creating innovative solutions involving the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.

Experienced working with senior customer management teams

Candidates should have experience in the some of the following fields: FISMA Reporting and Risk Scoring, Advanced Analytics, Cyber Performance Analysis, cybersecurity operational support.
