BAE Systems Government Property Management Specialist Senior in Totowa, New Jersey
This position is responsible for administering, reporting and self-assessing Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Management System. This includes the maintenance of records and issuance of required contractual and FAR Reports concerning Government and Customer property; such as Loss Reports, Physical Inventory Reports, etc., from receipt to finalcontract property closeoutafter contract completion or termination. The person in this position is expected toensure company compliance with FAR/DFARS and other Government regulations as well as contractual requirements. In addition they are expected to provide all documentation and audit trail records for the self-assessmentsas well asbe the primary liaison with and coordinateinternal support ofthe annual Government Property Management System Analysis (PMSA), performed by DCMA, as well as all Customer and other internal and external audits of the NJ sites. This person creates, updates and maintains auditable records of Government and Customer property at BAE Systems facilities and other alternate sitesand manages interfaces with associated vendors/subcontractors. This may include site visits toperform adequate oversight.This position requires someone with excellent communication skills in writing, speaking and presentingas well as the ability to exercise discretion and independent but appropriate judgment. It requires a solid knowledge of the FAR and DFARS clauses related to GovernmentProperty.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Knowledge of IUID Registry reporting requirements, extensive knowledge and experience performing self-assessments and working with the DCMA On PMSAs, Solid working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, and 45, and DFARS 245.6, 252.211-7007 and 7003, excellent writing, presenting and oral communication skills, good planning, time management and organization skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, proficient at use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
