BAE Systems Assault Amphibious Vehicle Project Manager in Stafford, Virginia

The role will provide technical and analytical guidance to project team and management on all aspects of amphibious operations. Plan and manage indirect staff to ensure sufficient and appropriate support to production, supply chain and other stakeholders in support of AAV Program(s). Serves as connection between external and internal BAES AAV Program Leadership. Prepares project plans including initiating, strategy,planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing. Reviews and manages status of projects, control accounts, budgets, schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues, risks and develops solutions to maintain schedule, quality, and performance goals and objectives of the program.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

  • Be knowledgeable in supply chain management includingmaterial planning andprocurement;

  • Possess the fundamentals of production operations in particular as to how it applies in amanufacturing environment;

  • Be well versed in all aspects of quality control;

  • Possess expert organizational and planning skills;

  • Practice great attentionto delivery schedules, strivingto fulfill all necessary requirements tomeet deadlines;

  • Possess highly effective communication skills todeliver messages, updates, advice, directives, and guidance.
