BAE Systems Human Resources Manager in Ogden, Utah
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who will act as a business partner with assigned customers through understanding desired business outcomes required at a tactical and strategic level.
Other duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Implement Human Resources policies as a generalist, partnering with business operations and direct reports to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolves HR issues
Support the mitigation of human capital related business risks and compliance activities
Provide proactive employee relations, manager coaching, and partner with assigned managers to create a culture that supports business growth or business rightsizing
Collaborate with the Centers of Expertise (COEs) and all elements of the HR delivery model to ensure the delivery of world class HR services and programs to address critical business needs and employ effective measures of success Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison for the following areas: succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development
Partner with assigned managers and direct reports to identify top talent and succession candidates and provide support to the Management Readiness Review planning process at the business unit level
Support business activities that support a culture that is diverse and inclusive
Provide guidance and coaching to management in the delivery of compensation programs like annual salary planning
Act as a change agent for key HR and business changes and provide project management for assigned key HR projects
Manage the HR team andprovide leadership by fully implementing all principles of performance management within the team, including regular coaching, training and feedback sessions
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Minimum education and required years of related/relevant work experience:Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline and at least 15 years of experience.
Other required skills/experience:
Strong employee relations experience
Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilities
Security clearance requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required)
