BAE Systems GBSD Security Systems \u0026 Requirements Lead in Ogden, Utah

The ICBM Systems Directorate (ICBMSD) Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Division is beginning the acquisition of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system to replace the Minuteman III system. An analysis of alternatives for the new missile specified the reutilization of large portions of the infrastructure used in the Minuteman III system. Built in the early 1960s, many of these structures are in a degraded condition and will require refurbishment and modernization to support the GBSD system into the 2075 timeframe. Additionally, GBSD will require modernization of ground support and securityequipment to meet new system specifications and enable operations well into the future.

This position will directly support the development and execution of theLaunch Systems(LS) component of the GBSD program. This BAE Systems teammember will serve as the GBSDLS subject matter expert and advisor to the government on ICBM security requirements. In this capacity they will assist the government in defining and pursuing modernized securitysystems and structural features that will meet all current nuclear security guidance document requirements for ICBM systems. These modernization efforts will meet classified GBSD Key Performance Parameters associated with both security and maintainability of the new ICBM system.

The position is being filled as a part of the Future ICBM Sustainment and Acquisition Construct (FISAC) under which BAE Systems augments organic government resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, mission effectiveness, and ICBM Demonstration / Validation (Dem/Val) Integrated Applications Program Position will be located at or near Hill AFB, Utah.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

Minimum of 14 years experience in physical/nuclear security with Associate's Degree.

Minimum of 12 years experience in physical/nuclear security with Bachelor's Degree.

Extensive knowledge and experience in nuclear security systems and requirements.
