BAE Systems Sr Technical Writer in Nashua, New Hampshire
This position is for an Engineering team member that develops documentation in support of our evolving state of the art electronics products. Your primary responsibility is to develop, as well as update, operator and support equipment manuals. You may also assist with writing/editing other technical documentation that includes specifications, test procedures, and reports. You should expect to contribute to the cross-functional team, with a focus on solutions and task-closure.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Bachelor's Degree in English/Communications or a technical discipline and 5 years of experience working as a Technical Writer. For applicants with no degree, 11 years of experience as a Technical Writer is required.
Demonstrated excellence in technical writing and communication.
Be willing to ask questions and consult Subject Matter Experts.
Work independently but also have a strong team mentality.
Strong computer skills including Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office suite, and graphics applications.
