BAE Systems Process Engineer II - Electronic Warfare in Nashua, New Hampshire
This role will provide process engineering support for the IEWS product line in the Electronic Warfare Integrated Manufacturing Center. This role will be responsible for developing and rolling out production processes supporting the manufacture of Electronic Warfare circuit card assemblies, module assemblies, and box assemblies. This role will be responsible for developing future manufacturing layouts, providing sustaining process engineering support to production programs, and executing special projects supporting a transformation to a lean manufacturing environment.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
- Recommends and implements process technologies, lean manufacturing techniques and process flows to execute both production and development programs within the Operations organization.
2.Participates in deployingPFMEA, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, and SPC tools.
3.Supports Mfg leadership,including technical assessments, new or existing manufacturing equipment installs/relocation, value stream mapping/simulations, facilitation/space planning.
Provides technical support for risk identification and mitigation.
Day to day support of the production floor, driving defect reduction, root cause activities, and daily interaction with technicians and operators.
Supports the review, analysis, andimplementation ofcorrective action on complex customer problems.
Able to understand customer requirements and help ensure deliverables meet cost and schedule requirements.
Helps design future manufacturing facility, and helps lead multiple transitions of new products to the production environment.
