BAE Systems RF Design Engineer - Space Systems in Merrimack, New Hampshire

BAE Systems is seeking a Principal RF/Microwave Engineer to support our growing Space Systems product line.

This position requires expertise designing wideband microwave modules, including receiver front ends, tuners, up/down converters, and/or switch matrices. Candidates are expected to support all phases of development from early-stage architecture reviews through production.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design leading-edge hardware modules for space applications with a focus on small size, low noise, wide bandwidth and/or high linearity

  • Generate necessary drawings and documentation

  • Support proposal and report generation

  • Mentor junior engineers

  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams consisting of mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Able to work effectively in a "borderless" environment

  • Eligible for TS/SCI security clearance

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance

  • Experience designing tuner modules and/or frequency converters for space applications

  • Proficiency with 2D or 3D EM modeling

  • Fluent with Keysight ADS (preferred) or equivalent software
