BAE Systems Strategic Workforce Planning Analyst in Fort Meade, Maryland

The Strategic Workforce PlanningAnalyst will research and analyze current and future resources of structure, manpower, and equipment in order to maintain organizational mission capabilities, providing technical analysis and recommendations to leadership, staff, and subordinate units. Conduct coordination and collaboration on Force Modernization concerning structure, manpower, and equipment issues with leadership, staff, and subordinate units, as well as headquarters and staff elements at higher echelons, in order to perform analysis, integration, and implementation of changes directed by Government. Priority missions shall include the annual Command Plan, position management, documentation (The Army Authorization Documentation System), Manpower Survey, Force Design Update, Concept Plans, Command Implementation Plans, and force structure policy review/impact analysis. Force Modernization activities shall include position management, documentation, manpower decrements, manpower monthly reporting, management of Government civilian positions, historical reporting, tracking of approved manpower allocations by budget program element, and processing of force realignment transactions. These positions will be located in the United States which could include Fort Meade, Maryland and Fort Belvoir, VA.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience related to the required skills section.

Required Skills And Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Major in operations, math, statistics or business preferred) and 4 years of experience in workforce planning and/or government force management.

  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

  • Strong briefing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.).
