BAE Systems Logistics Analyst Sr. in Dulles, Virginia
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for providing logistics support/material handling of procuring and regulatory of Program Materials, includes Network IT Hardware, Software, and operational facilities materials. Works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain Manager and Procurement and the Asset management team to ensure all deliverable assets ordered are properly received, inventoried, identified with asset tags, and delivered to customer Data Centers or other stakeholders. Regular updates to Material Status tracker and other material databases will be required. Knowledge or familiarity of BAE's ERP- CostPoint system is helpful in dealings of Purchase Requisitions, and Receipt of material - based off of approved items listed on BOM. Trained/licensed operator of Forklift is necessary to regularly unload large Rack Enclosures, and large pallets of equipment from trucks. Must be able to lift boxes weighing at most 50lbs. Logistics support will be responsible in management of system spares; working with Service-Operations as the need for replacement hardware is required. Return Management Authorization between BAE Procurement and the vendors is a regular occurrence when hardware fails and must be coordinated and followed through to return and replacement. The SCA will help coordinate shipments of equipment to various locations CONUS as well as OCONUS. Must be available to provide flyaway material audits at various Data Center locations and perform onsite once-to-twice a year complete inventories. Familiarity or Knowledge is a plus:

Candidate must be organized and possess good communications and writing skills, be organized. Be comfortable interfacing with Government customer representatives by attending regular weekly Asset Management meetings, and monthly PMR meetings. Will work with many of the program groups, and must be team oriented.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning system, CostPoint or similar
Familiar with Flexnet, TAM, or other Database system
Microsoft Office Excel-mainly
Trained and licensed for Forklift operation
Familiar with Procurement regulations-(D)FAR, CPSR
Government forms, DD1149, DD250
Asset Management knowledge
