BAE Systems Sr. Program Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

Plan and executecomplex projects on-time and within budget delivering allnegotiated capability. Projects typically include development, integration, and demonstrationofstate-of-the-art technologies withinthe Fusion, Battle Management & Computing Technologies (FBC)research and development business area.Extensive customer interaction to identify opportunities and grow the top line by proposing ECPs and follow-on initiatives. Coordinate development of white papers and proposals for new business and support contract negotiations for favorable fee, terms & conditions. Maintain compliance with BAE Systems project planning and execution standards and industry best practices(e.g., SEI CMMI); lead project status reviews with customers and senior management. Ensure all project deliverables meet BAE Systems' quality standards andare delivered on time. Collaborate with other BAE Systems business areas to share / transition technical capabilities. Mentor project staff on acquiring and demonstrating management and leadership skills. Maintain and strive to improve own project management, leadership, and communicationskills.

Minimum Education And Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

Required education: Advanced degree in technical and/or business discipline and 10 years' experience is required.

Demonstrated project planning and execution skills.

Excellent oral and writing communication skills.

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).or related experience

Experience managing multi-million dollar technology-intensive ISR programs at DoD and/or Intelligence community sites
